I deleted Instagram and TikTok, later adding a parental-style browser block whose password I did not routinely use. I retained limited access to Facebook Marketplace and LinkedIn for specific purposes. I wasn't trying to prove that all social media was bad. I just wanted to remove the endless feeds and keep the tools I genuinely used for something specific.
